Is CareerLaos free for jobseekers?
Yes. Searching and applying are always free for jobseekers.
How do I apply for a job?
Open the job and fill in the "Apply" box: your name, phone and email, and attach your CV (PDF or Word, up to 4 MB). Press Send. You do not need an account first: we make one for you and email you a passcode.
I forgot my passcode / password.
Go to Sign in and press "Forgot your password?". We email you a link to set a new one. Check your spam folder if it does not arrive within a few minutes.
How do I know if the employer saw my application?
Open My CareerLaos. Each application shows its step: sent, viewed by the employer, shortlisted, interview, hired or not selected. We also email you when it changes.
What are "Jobs for you" and the match %?
We compare your profile with the jobs: the job you want, your skills, field of study, province, education, years of experience and expected salary. The more you fill in under My profile, the better the matches.
Who can see my profile and CV?
Only the employers you apply to, and CareerLaos staff. If you tick "Let employers find my profile", employers with a matching job can see your name, province and skills and invite you to apply. They see your phone, email and CV only if you apply.
How do I stop or change your emails?
Open My CareerLaos and choose what you want to receive under "How we contact you".
A job looks fake or asks for money.
Never pay to get a job. Press "Report this job" on the job page and our team will check it.

Is posting a job free?
On the occasion of our new website launch, you can post everything free until 31 December 2026. Easy. Simple. Fast. Start posting now! You will always be told before anything costs money.
How do I post a job?
Register as an employer, then press "Post a job". Upload your job description (PDF, Word or a photo of your poster) or paste the text. CareerLaos fills in the form for you; check it and publish. No time? Send it to us and we post it for you.
Where do I see my applicants?
Open My company. Each job shows how many people applied. Open a job to see everyone, their CV and match %, and move them through the steps (shortlist, interview, hired). Applicants get an email at each step.
Can my HR colleagues help manage jobs?
Yes. The owner of the company account can add up to 10 colleagues in My company, then Team. Each gets their own login.
What are "Suggested candidates"?
Jobseekers who match your open job and allowed employers to find them. Press "Invite to apply" to send them an invitation. You get their contact details when they apply.
How do I edit or close a job?
Open My company. Each job has "Edit" and "Close job" buttons. You can reopen a closed job later.
The person who managed our account left. What do we do?
If a colleague is in your company team, they can keep working. To move the main login to a new person, or to get a new passcode, send us a message from Contact us (from your company email if possible). CareerLaos staff hand the account over; your jobs and applicants stay as they are, and the old login is closed.
How do I add our logo and cover photo?
Open My company, then Company profile. Add a logo, a wide cover photo, your contact details and social media links. They show on your public company page.

Press "ລາວ" or "EN" at the top of any page.
Can I use CareerLaos like an app on my phone?
Yes. Press "Install the app" at the bottom of any page and follow the steps for your phone (Android or iPhone).
How do I delete my account?
Send us a message from the Contact us page with the email of your account. We delete it and tell you when it is done.
